The Dirty Mitts are a band that formed in January 2007 from the ashes of the now defunct band Pangea. Moving on from what Pangea started, The Dirty Mitts combine emotionally charged and uplifting lyrics with a rhythm section that has so much funk that your head might just explode on first listen! The band started off as a five piece with Matt (vocals), Cunningham (guitar), Ed (guitar) (now on drums), Chris (bass) and Ryan (drums - former drummer for the Kooks), But all was not good! Ryan abandoned ship and moved to Spain leaving the band as a four piece, Ed then moved onto the skins and proved to be a more than worthy replacement! After tracking the immense sphere of the universe and crossing the space-time continuum in the search of supporting one of the greatest bands of all time, Tim Gage decided to join the band. Tim known from his success with 'Pink Umbrella' and the 'Tim Gage Band' has decided to lend his considerable talents to the band.
As a band The Dirty Mitts have evolved to be a force to be reckoned with and are still evolving at a head spinning pace! But the real highlight is to see these guys live, they have such strong personality when the play and really bounce off each other resulting in an energetic, fun and highly involving show that without a doubt you will most certainly enjoy!
